I’ve never encountered a Crimson Drive so I tried this build on a whim and I’m glad I did. Really great distortion character. I haven’t found an amp it doesnt sound good in front of yet.

Awesome germanium OD. Still some OC139’s to be found and SMD J201’s are everywhere now, just use an adapter board and you’re set! Tons of great tones from single coils to hot humbuckers.
