Very good quality board. Thick and sturdy. Built the Martian Fuzz and love the way it sounds. Pcb mount pots secure board to pedal would be nice to see mounting holes if not using that style pot or want to arrange them differently

Built 2 of these using the Civil War layout. Compared against a boutique muff fuzz and it is so close it’s crazy. Granted that one is a Rams Head. I’m planning on doing another one for myself soon but have more projects in the table now.
Easy and fun build and they work worked after I sorted out a dry solder joint on the footswitch

Built one to green russian specs and did an A/B with my EHX reissue. It sounded good enough that it has replaced that pedal on my board. Added a foot switchable feedback looper into it and this circuit takes it so well. Strong recommend!

I did the Triangle build and it sounds amazing. I used 2 100nf capacitors in series for the 50nf. I used a 3.9nf instead of the 4nf. Everything else is straightforward.

Excellent board. There is enough space to use much larger box coupling caps (>1u) than what was in the original circuit. Also, there are two holes for the caps incase you want to use smaller Tantalum caps. My only request would be if there was more room for the transistors. They fit, 100% and it’s easy to install sockets, but it is tight … especially if aren’t using a form factor larger than TO-92

I’ve built this board countless times and they’re all great. It’s a very versatile board and you can build other muff based fuzzes on it as well that aren’t listed in the build docs. Check the forums if you can’t figure out what the variants are based off of. Stomp ’75 and The Fox are my personal favorites, the Triangle is probably most archetypal.

I have built 3 of the available variants on this PCB. The Green Russian (several times), the Triangle and the Bigger Muffin.
All 3 sound great, but the Green Russian or the Bigger Muffin are my favorites. I did not have the 2N706a transistors for the Bigger Muffin, but I used the 2N5088 as used in other build variants with excellent results.
Highly recommend this board for some great fuzz options
