What an absurdly versatile pedal. I almost never like these “with all these switched you can get *every* sound ever, dude!” sort of pedals, but this is very different. The high gain option on these sorts of designs usually sounds like crap to me, but this is very well voiced and very useable on all settings of the mode and clip switch, especially in a live mix. There’s a lot of harmonic “interest” in the upper mids/low highs somewhat like a Marshall, but unlike modern DSL stuff you can really tame it well with the highs and presence knob without killing the high end harmonics. Really special.
Only gripe was the PCB has C19 printed as a film cap and the BOM has it listed as electrolytic. I had both on hand so I used film and it sounds great.

Typical PedalPCB board that is nicely laid out and straightforward to build. My build worked perfectly on first power up, and sounds fantastic. Has a great “core” voice; combined with its extremely powerful EQ controls, it should be possible to work with just about any guitar or amp. Sounds great at home or in a band mix.
