Introduction
The PedalPCB Fuzz Foundry Deluxe includes and expands on the features of the original Fuzz Foundry, bringing a whole new level of fuzz creativity.
New features include a passive high-cut tone control, 8-position “Fat” switch, and the ability to switch between Silicon and Germanium transistors on-the-fly for a nearly endless palette of fuzz destruction.
Controls
- Volume – Adjust output volume level
- Stability – Controls the firmness of fuzz
- Drive – Controls the amount of distortion
- Gate – Chokes off squeals and oscillations
- Tone – Rolls off high-end harshness
- Compress – Adjusts attack/tonal characteristic
- Fat (Rotary switch) – Controls low end response (8 positions)
- Si/Ge (Toggle switch) – Switches between Silicon / Germanium transistors

FF on steroids, indeed! Wowza. I was skeptical about the Germanium-Silicon toggle at first, but it adds a nice-yet-subtle variation on the typical Factory sound. The real winner, though, is the rotary Fat knob! It really is a meaningful addition to an already tricked out fuzz and lends even more fun and versatility to the chaos this circuit embodies!
