This thing is so gnarly and I love it. Built one for a friend and when testing I knew I needed a second one for myself. Super easy build and gives any other dirt pedal a new character. I used D9B Soviet NOS diodes from stomp box parts for the germaniums and I think it sounds accurate.

Good PCB, however “good” is not the right term for this pedal. It is uniquely rude and bad in a way that only rarely (tripple, prunes, karl) gets explored. Strongly recommend C5K taper for the SHO section, as you may find in other SHO examples.
