Awesome gritty overdrive with a ton of character. Not a ton of gain, but it sounds so good pushing a driven amp. Pretty forgiving on the transistor selection as long as they’re between 60-120 hfe and 100-300 uA leakage. Throw a 22uf cap in parallel with Q1’s emitter resistor (1k) using a switch to open it up quite a bit. Really like this one.
