This is a great overdrive for those thick, crunchy 70’s rock tones. Perfect match for my Les Paul through a cleanish Fender amp or a Marshall that’s starting to break up. This build fired up perfectly from the start. Always a good feeling! Highly recommend.

Mine would not work without extreme noise. I tried building it twice. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s the MPSA18s I have but I could not get rid of the noise.

Another amazing circuit from PedalPCB!! I’ve built a couple of these one with Bat41’s and one with 1n34a’s in place of the Bat’s. Both sound great but it’s definitely worth socketing to see what you like.
