Cool pedal, as with all Death by Audio pedal it is quite opinionated. I recommend running a fuzz into it, and use the neck pickup. Make sure the transformer is oriented correctly or you’ll be doing surgery on a grape like I did. Lots of fun running the Captain Bit into this. Not a must-build, but a fun one if you want to make destructive noises.
