This thing is AMAZING! Not at all what I expected, which was some variation on one of the usual fuzz circuits. Man, was I wrong?! Okay, initially, when I hadn’t yet biased the transistors, I got some nasty, gritty and spitty fuzz. But after I went through and biased them correctly, something spectacular happened. At first, I thought, ‘Oh, shoot! I lost the fuzziness!’ BUT!… Stick with it. It is NOT a knockoff of a typical fuzz circuit at all. Yeah, you can push it hard into that territory (or mis-bias it on purpose, a la The Tacobolt), but I have used it multiple gigs in a row as a beautiful overdrive for slide, or a rangemaster-type boost, or goosed it from the front for some wonderful grit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Fairly easy build too, and fun!
