I use this pedal as an always-on clean boost in front of my other drive pedals. It adds a zing to the mids and highs that makes my clean tone sing and really pushes my other drive pedals into the sweet zone. It also pairs especially great with the low end boost from a Klon(placed after drive pedals); they combine to give you a fat and sizzling clean tone. My strat has never sounded so good. I used to have a v3 and v4 Morning Glory and wanted to build one again. I just love the high end it adds (which the bright switch can get rid of). The extra gain stage adds a great volume boost. I added a second foot switch to swap the silicon diodes for LEDs. It sounded great on the bread board, but once in the pedal, was a pretty big volume jump. I’ve used this to my advantage, for volume swells into reverb or for slide.
Pedal PCB is great, I’ve built a few others and can’t wait to keep building more pedals.
