Excellent pedal! Articulate, very tight low end, great range of gain, and never loses the clarity.
the build went pretty easily. I DID sub a couple component values for some items I did not have on hand… the two 510K resistors (R3 and R13) for the base of each Transistor were replaced by 560K resistors. And C4 called for a 56pF cap, but I used a 62pF here. As far as I can tell, no impact on the tone, but it seems like the low end tightness is even better? Maybe just my expectations. I also socketed the IC AND both JFETs so I can play around a bit down the road.
Highly recommended for excellent rock overdrive with no excessive mids or coloration of your tone.
