This is a fantastic sounding drive. The board being laid out beautifully and made of the highest quality is a given. A couple of interesting things to note:
1. Most of the drive comes from the opamp, so do yourself a favor and get the OPA2134. I started with a TL072 just to make sure that it was working so as not to fry the chip. Then I tested chips. The TL072 had a more ragged sound to the edges of the notes than the OPA. The change was subtle, but very worth it.
2. The accent control introduces assymetrical clipping from the 3mm LED. This gives a different flavor to the overdrive. I was uncertain what it did at first, so thought the info would be good to share.
3. This thing can get LOUD!

Phenomenal sounding overdrive. VERY amp-like and there are a TON of various textures to wrest from it.
You can DEFINITELY get that sweet, sustaining, Dumble grind..low-mids but with a touch of presence on top. But so much more is in there.
Fairly easy project, a couple of odd values (1.8kOhm Resistor and a 82pF cap), but all-in-all, straightforward. Also, the OPA2134 is WELL worth obtaining for this pedal.
I can ALMOST see why the originals of these are going for > $600.

5 stars for sounding like the original. The only problem is that apparently I’m not a huge fan of the original haha. The overdrive sounds are wonderful, but the decay of the notes gets really ragged. I modified mine to include a few clipping diodes instead of just the op-amp clipping and now it’s my favorite pedal. Do yourself a favor and put it on a SPDT on-off-on switch, put two LED’s in symmetric clipping and some zener diodes in asymmetric clipping to give yourself some different flavors. Other diodes I tested were just too quiet. I have a post on the modifications page of the forums showing how I did it.
