I really wanted to like this but the sound is just not for me. I actually built this one twice – first didn’t work and I’m guessing there was a problem with my components or soldering (it was one of my first builds). I built a second time after getting more build experience and the circuit functioned that time. However, the filter sound just isn’t for me and the distortion has some significant volume drop. The build itself went pretty well the second time (which I chalk up to my own inexperience the first time). Ranking 4/5 keeping my own sonic preferences out of the equation as the pcb quality is great but distortion volume drops quite a bit.

It’s that classic, whacky-zappy Bassballs sound but with tons of added functionality to taper it to your needs.
