What an easy and rewarding build! This is a really, REALLY good and wide-band EQ. An excellent design that delivers a very tweakable tone. Took about two hours to build from start to finish and works wonderfully in the loop or in the back of a front-end signal chain. Tried this in the loop of a Bugera Infinium T50 and WOW! the sweep is just insane! From beefing up frequencies to toning down an angry mid-bass section. I was able to reach tones kin to a sparkling fender twin and in the drive channel, able to conjure up the most devastating Cowboys from Hell sounds from an almost unusable drive channel. Amazing! Thanks Pedal PCB!

What can I say here other than a good EQ pedal. I needed a second EQ to put on another board, and didn’t want to purchase another MXR 10 band EQ (a bit overkill for my needs / wants anyway) and saw this, and decided “yes, I will build an EQ, why not!” Simple, straight forward build, and sounds great! Excellent EQ sweeps, just like I would expect. I can perfectly shape my tone with this guy, no problem!

This is an excellent, easy to use (and easy to build) EQ pedal that has plenty of range. Well worth the little bit of time it took to build. Works great with several guitars and amps, and even improved a bass guitar.

I’m not sure why but when I first started looking into building an eq pedal for my board I expected them to be far more complicated to build. This was incredibly easy and incredibly useful.

Great EQ PCB.
Very neat design and layout.
Took just over an hour to build and it sounds superb.
Excellent adjustable range to get the tone you are looking for.

For the past 25 years I’ve never bothered with an EQ pedal. Just the tone control on my instrument, amp and/or pedals.
Finally gave it a shot. And just wow. I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without one.
I can make my distortions sound like other distortions, it can do the parked wah sound, it can function as a boost but better. I’d even go as far as saying if I could only have one pedal to use with a tube amp, I would be thinking about this one.
The build was fairly easy.

Very flexible pedal, can be used as a nice boost or even a preamp. Honestly I think preamp might even be its best deployment.
Not a difficult build, but of course make sure to print your drill template at default size. I only made that mistake this one time lol, and it was my first drilled enclosure.
Overall a great build, not sure it’s a must-build but you won’t be disappointed with what is an extremely versatile pedal.
