Controls
- Volume – Controls the output volume
- Tone – Controls the tone
- Sustain – Controls the amount of fuzz
- Tone Bypass (toggle switch) – Bypasses tone control
- Stage 1 Transistor (toggle switch) – Selects between NPN Silicon and NPN Germanium transistors for Clipping Stage 1
- Stage 2 Transistor (toggle switch) – Selects between NPN Silicon and NPN Germanium transistors for Clipping Stage 2
- Stage 1 Clipping (toggle switch) – Selects between Silicon diodes / LEDs for Clipping Stage 1
- Stage 2 Clipping (toggle switch) – Selects between Silicon / Germanium diodes for Clipping Stage 2
- Dip Switches (1-20) – Configures various aspects of the circuit

Nice Muff clone, able to get enough variations to be useful in a number of situations. Get the faceplate to cover up the hole for the dip switches, and make sure you align all the switches in the enclosure with faceplate on before soldering them in place, you don’t want to have to get out a file because your dip switches are 1mm too far to the left. Not that I’d know… D:

A highly tweakable Muff. This project is not for beginners due to number of components and drilling required. Take your time and you’ll have a Swiss Army Muff!
