My favorite foundation pedal. Very tube-amp-like in its response. Great touch sensitivity. The FETs provide a smooth, sweet overdrive sound. Super Lead setting is quite hot with plenty of gain. Super Bass setting has a deep, rich bottom end. MPF4393s are not easy to find in a TO-92 pkg, but they are out there. So far, I have only run mine on 9VDC. Can be powered with 18VDC for additional headroom. Great quality board, but be careful choosing and mounting the capacitors because they were pretty crowded on my build.

I think this is based on the Red version darker with a softer top end EQ dosen”t have much sweep so I made the presence an external pot to adjust the tone
