Sounds just like an OC2. As a bass player “the” setting on these things is to crank oct1 and set oct2 and direct to zero for a sub synth bass sound. This pedal nails that sound. Also sounds great dialling the direct signal back in for a traditional octave pedal sound. But, just like a real OC2 octave2 is basically useless.

Met my high expectations. As stated in the previous review, oct2 doesn’t get used much by bassists, like myself, but oct1 soloed does “the thing”. This circuit sounds really good, especially followed by some fuzz. I have an eh hogs foot after the oc2 in the chain and it is also kind of magical. Might house it with a booster as it can be a little quiet while using oct1 solo.

Spot on. Component count and board size may be tricky for very early beginners but otherwise not a difficult build.
