I’d been looking for a binson-style pedal for a while and this ticked all my boxes. I’ve got to say, this didn’t disappoint. It sounds fantastic with really lush repeats and I love that each head is switchable for whatever combinations you want.

Amazingly good. Great to be able to have up to four different repetition tempos at once.

Built this pedal 6 months ago & i still use it as an always on delay on my board. Just build one!

Just finished this project and while I’ve never used a binson, I’m super into this circuit. The Hydra will likely unseat my carbon copy from my pedalboard which has been there since 2007. Wired it up and lost an hour to twiddling while testing. Fun fun fun.

Another happy owner here! It’s just a fun delay, especially with the 4 heads and the “Age” knob to roll off high end on the repeats.

I wanted to.build my own delay, and this seemed like a good choice. I saw a YouTube video that convinced me, and the demo had a sound I’ve been looking for. So this thing is capable of MANY delay sou da and what not, but I only use it for one, and that one is PERFECT for my needs.
If you’re looking for a delay that can do many things, or just one thing really well, I’d say give this a try!

This thing sounds fantastic. Ticks all the boxes for this style of delay. Above all, it is a lot of fun and makes me want to play more. This is a 10.

A whole lot of fun. Very flexible and a ton of usable sounds as noted, including reverbish effect, spacy self-oscillation, etc. etc. Just build it!

Sounds awesome! It’s easy to dial up amazing sounds despite the wide range of controls. One of my favorites.
Build is quite easy and straight-forward. Only thing to be aware of: Resistor footprints are smaller than usual so you’ll either need to mount standard resistors vertically (being careful so leads do not touch) or use smaller footprint resistors.

This circuit sounds amazing. I used to have a CB Echorec that I sold and have missed it ever since. This is filling that void for me. It’s a fun build too and the faceplate makes the pedal look very professional.
