Just completed this build over the weekend. Sounds awesome! I did run into a couple small issues that I thought were worth mentioning. First, the rows of electrolytic capacitors are a little tight. Maybe I could have found smaller diameter versions of the ones with less common values, but a little more space would have resulted in them fitting more cleanly. Second, I couldn’t solder the switch directly to the board and have it fit the case I drilled using the template. On the template the switch is in line with the hole for the potentiometer, but with both mounted to the board they weren’t on center unless I really forced the pot out of it’s “natural position” which would require me to do the same with the other two pots. I ended up putting jumpers on the switch and kind of fudging the rest it to place. So it worked out fine, but that was an unexpected issue. Like I said, sounds killer. It’s possible my nitpicks are mostly my own fault, but I wanted to mention them in case they’d help anyone later on.

The electrolytic caps are definitely a tight fit, that is something that might be addressed in a future revision of the layout.
The pots and switches, on the other hand, should have been perfectly aligned.

Incredibly unique sounding pedal with lots of variety to boot. Keep in mind you can leave the IC out so it runs at 9V. This will give you less headroom and that nice fuzzy, broken up sound that this circuit does best.
I used the drill template and my pots and switch aligned perfectly.

Just finished this build last night. Needles to say I am blown away by the variety of sounds coming from this box. I think my favorite though is the heavy fuzz vibe. The CAPS and Resistors are a bit tight but not so much that you can’t line them up.
Overall super impressed by this pedal and will own it for years to come:)

In love with the sound of this thing. Huge range of tones available from 3 knobs and a switch. Can get some really cool blown out distorted sounds.
