pretty straightforward build but does require some biasing and whatnot. lovely layout with smd options for some of the transistors. overall, its lovely for sculpting the high-end and really brightens up my dark sounding recto and can tune in some extra jangle on my other amps. there’s definitely a hissy noise floor to the stock build but that’s nature of the beast. overall, i like it even though i’m not a vox fanboy. gainier settings — using boost and/or 30v — probably won’t get much use from me but someone else will probably love them.
