First off, I made a mistake building this pedal (used a 680R instead of the 680K) and it was driving me nuts! I’m happy to say after using the forum PEDALPCB came to the rescue and spotted it. I am so happy!! Can’t believe I was about to give up. This pedal is the best sounding distortion that I’ve built so far. It’s a very easy build, I just totally spaced on R22. This thing is so chunky, no fizz. It has a permanent place on my board now!!

Couldn’t wait to finish this build. Sounds really good on its own . Where this thing really shines for me is with an OD pushing it to tighten things up and get some more chug out of it.

I built this pedal having never heard the triple wreck version….So I can’t confirm the likeness.,but I can tell you this pedal sounds amazing. It puts me in the mind of Mxr fullbore. If you’re a metal head like me then build this pedal;)
