Just finished this one, and it sounds great as an always on first gain pedal. I tried different ICs and surpisingly went with a TL072! It’s quite a bit smoother ( trimmers), keep in mind I’m using it as a low gain unit. Also, with careful planning it will fit in a 1590b, top loaded.
