Holy moly! This thing sounds WAY better than I expected! I’ve been playing my T-style guitar through it for a week now, and I can’t get enough. I’ve built hundreds of pedals, and this one is among the cream of the crop. Easy build and a crazy-awesome boost! Highly recommended!

This is a hidden gem! Super easy build with absolutely fantastic results. This mimics the tube breakup of a Dumble amp. Very realistic. At least to my ear (I’ve been playing for over 50 years). If you source your componets right, you’ll be into this for about $25 (US). Well worth the money and time. If you like tube sound on the edge, you’ll love this.
Full disclosure, the hardest part of this is soldering the J309 transistor. But it’s completely doable.

Just finished this one last night. Easy build. I can already tell this is going to be an “always-on”. I didn’t have any j309 on hand, so I used a j112. It biased just fine and sounds wonderful. It’s as good as or better than my EP clone. The “Input” control is neat. Not your typical tone knob.
