Dustin Ozment (verified owner) –
This pedal can go from overdrive up to a thick low gain distortion that is reminiscent of late 60’s/early 70’s hard rock. Its a fat, meaty, growly distortion with character. With the gain maxed out you start to get those deliciously thick fuzz overtones on the low end. This pedal is very balanced with a fat low end, no diminishing of the lows or addition of a midrange boost like is common in many distortion pedals. That being said, there is still plenty of midrange and treble; this pedal sounds great for guitar solos. For best results, push it with a clean boost pedal and it will really sing. Current Draw: 7mA
