My second last build and still my favorite plexi pedal compared to Mammal, and BSIABB.
Funny thing is, I was real unimpressed the first time playing through it after biasing the transistors to exactly 4.5 volts. After sweeping the entire range of the bias pots I noticed it starts real quiet, gets louder than starts to get quiet again. After adjusting each one to its loudest point, which technically is supposed to be the middle at 4.5 v, I noticed that by adjusting them by ear made all the difference in the world and doesn’t require a meter. Requesting to release the newer version with the mid hump and maybe even a fet 202 boost circuit in front of it. Call it the PlexiPCB.

Love this circuit and as usual, PedalPCB design is top notch. I used a 250pF silver mica cap rather than a ceramic 220pF cap, biased to 4.60v on all 3 j201’s (smd) and I can’t believe how good this pedal sounds. The gain range is phenomenal. From boosted clean, to overdriven to flat out metal…hits a lot of spots.
