I had the Boss Waza CE-2 to compare this to and it sounds every bit as good. An absolutely classic chorus, sounds straight out of the 80s.

I never heard an actual CE2 but seen some on YT. I built two Cepheid projects, one for my friend used the MN3007/3100 and one for me used MN3107/3102. Both sounded fantastic. I noticed the one that has the 3007 is warmer and the on my CE2 is bit bright. But I found that the one that has 3107 is tighter on less wobbly when paired with a dirt pedal. So for my Cepheid, I will stick with the 3107. Nice pcb layout from PedalPCB. Will build another one for my brother soon.

Before building the Cepheid Chorus, I was using the choruses built into the HX Stomp. I have to say, this one easily beats them. It has a luscious analog tone – just sounds so good.
I ended up having a faulty resistor or capacitor that held up my build a bit, but users on the PedalPCB Forums pointed me in the right direction. Would definitely recommend!

Built and sold one and am currently building another. Classic chorus sound, not a huge range of options but the pedal doesn’t have a bad setting. I used the 3107, can’t compare to the other one. I do believe I substituted some values on the first one so I’m going to follow the values exactly for #2. A must build.
