Loving this thing! It was a bit of a difficult build, and sourcing all the components in Europe was an absolute nightmare but it was worth the wait. I don’t know if it sounds like the shallow water because I don’t own one but it sounds very pleasing to me!

One of the most difficult ones I built until now (especially setting the internal trimpots right). I took my time to make it work right (and I definitely thank this site’s forum community for sharing their previous experiences and knowledge – that helped a lot, as often). Probably one of the most rewarding builds since I started.
Potentially a keeper on my pedalboard.
I don’t know if it sounds exactly like the original one, it doesn’t really matter, as it seems to be pretty close, and, most importantly, it sounds great.
Kind of subtle, but unique, and beautiful.
Like this thing has soul and is living its own life (so you gotta play along to it).
Simply amazing 🙂
Thanks Mr. PedalPCB, as I would never have bought the original.

Works very well! BE CAREFUL with the gate trim pot, only a small range produces any input at all. Make sure you test this before assuming there’s a fault somewhere!

This was a very rewarding and challenging build, all from sourcing the different parts to putting it all together. Definitely worth it. Got it working after dialing in the trimpots correctly. Love the sounds!

Challenging build but very rewarding. This has a number of very usable sounds, tuning in with the trim pots takes a bit of patience, as does finding all the parts but they’re both doable.

Amazing pedal! I do not own the Fairfield Circuitry pedal to compare, but after building this, I don’t feel the need to even try the FC pedal.

Another rave review! I was definitely nervous due to the high parts count and need to source parts from the non-usual sources, but it turned out perfectly and sounds (to my ears) just like the demos of the original. Definitely a keeper!
