This thing kicks butt! Truly sounds like the ENGL Powerball Distortion (to my ears) with a ton of tone-shaping options in the rather usable EQ section. Oh! Also, this pedal has great responsiveness to various levels of input from your guitar. I’ve used it as a preamp before my drive pedals and after. I like it either way, but my personal preference is to have it after distortion and overdrive pedals.
