A versatile overdrive that can get up into some fuzzy/distortion business.
Built this with the off-spec interfet j201s, but it sounds amazing–very close, I think to the OKKO Diablo tracks I looked up.
It has beautiful harmonics and decay, especially with the voltage maxed at 18v. It has a lot of clarity, dynamics, and sensitivity, and preserves note definition, while being able to throw a whole lot of grit. The gain knob controls treble distortion, and the resonance knob the bass distortion.
Probably one of my favorite pedals I have built. I thought I was more of a fuzz guy than an overdrive guy…. until now.
