I love this compressor! Easy to use, fast and clean as a whistle. Also the build was easy.

A proper feedforward 5 knob “studio style” compressor. Quiet, transparent, with no weird compression action. Read the original Valve Wizard article for bass cap substitutions. Treble de-compression avoids muddiness. Knee tends to be soft however, so it is better as a compressor for fattening and lifting cleans up in the mix, less useful as a limiter over more dynamic cleans.

I run this pedal first in my chain for added sustain and a stronger general tone at low volumes. Keeping the settings light, this compressor has no audible artifacts or “sucking” sound. I am also able to run it before Fuzz/analog octave pedals with no bad consequences, which is a pleasant surprise; it actually improves the sound of my fuzzes whereas typically they need to be first in the chain to sound good.
