I shot this one out with 2 dozen different drives and boosts to try and give a few 100+w older tube heads(72 OR120, 86 Butcher, 2203 800) the fat wide range boost i want without any modern style bass cut or heavy mid boost, and this is the only one that blew me away. I built one for an experienced engineer buddy that now favors it as a utility preamp for everything(even for horns and drums!). The 9/18v switch is really handy for dialing your headroom. Ive built and played a whole lot of rigs and pedals in my life, this one is my #1 booster now. Always on when i need my big heads to thump, punch and compress nicely. Great work here
