This thing is great sounding. I’ve got it at the front of my signal chain as an always on pedal (it just replaced my beloved Micro Amp). Huge amounts of clean headroom and being able to bypass the EQ is good for balancing darker sounding and brighter sounding guitars. I replaced the TL072 chips for TL2072s, i had some around and they seemed do have a better frequency response… to my ears anyway!

Great boost. I like with the eq and with the eq bypass.

Excellent effect, sound great! I used a ICL7660SCPAZ instead of the TC1044SCPA. Works like a charm (and it’s cheaper). The only thing I found a bit disturbing is that the resistors have a very small footprint. I soldered my resistors standing to get around that. I guess this keeps the pcb size down to a minimum. Maybe something that should be mentioned in the description of the pcb’s?

This an excellent tone shaping tool. The EQ offers a lot of possibilities ! This one is on my board to stay !
