I can’t believe in the first to review this amazing pedal! It been out for awhile now, and always seems to be sold out here. I keep mine always on, in the “Blend” mode, Tone at 2 o’clock, Compression at 9 o’clock, Level at unity. It adds a little sparkle and sustain. Very transparent! I put mine in a small enclosure, but that was a mistake. I had too many grounding issues. Be sure to use the recommended 125B size box.

Cannot tell apart from the original in an a/b test. Maybe even a bit clearer than the FG.

Very nice compressor, works great with single coils, transparent and nice highs.

Amazing compressor, might be the best ive ever played. Easy build, really handy control set. Highly recommended

After so many great forum write ups, I had to build this. It’s lovely sounding, and has very useful controls. Paired with a Mercurial boost, I can duplicate my favorite settings on my Unit67, which has been my favorite smaller compressor pedal. Just build it!

I had to play this one a little to gain an appreciation for the circuit, but it gets the job done very well and does add a little juice. Not a tone sweetener or anything but the sustain knob has a great range unlike other compressors. My second ever build was a two knob style comp and it was clumsy at best. This one is much more attentive to your needs. Having the option for input/output level gain matching as well as blending in the compressed signal gives you a lot of options, including using it as a boost for your dirt stages.
I consider this a must-build! I need to build a Thumbsucker to compare but once you get its vibe you won’t be disappointed.
