Really glad I built this. One of the wildest delays I’ve played. Some of the settings are really extreme but that’s part of the fun.

Really cool delay. I particularly like how the modulation only affects the wet signal, leaving the guitar signal very prominent in the mix. In my build there is a distinctive grainy quality to the repeating signal. This only appears in the delays, not the modulation. I can only assume this is an attribute of the PT2399 IC. Very unique and pleasing.

I LOVE this delay. I’ve built several PT2399 modulated delays, including the PedalPCB Sea Horse and the MadBeanPedals Florist, and this one has the best, most “organic” tone IMO. The shape knob adds a ton of dimension – you can swing it CCW to get smoother, almost chorus-y tones with short delays and feedback around 10 o’Clock… or put shape CW for abrupt pitch shifting to get really wild. It can range from a typical lead-y delay, perfect for solos, or for a light, airy slapback with a touch of warble… the fun never stops! Just buy it! The build is simple and you won’t be disappointed!

This is hands down the coolest pedal I’ve built. Top row of knobs is a great sounding analog delay. Bottom row of knobs can get you a warm modulated deluxe memory man type sound when dialled back, and then anything past 25% gets very trippy and otherworldly! Not too tough of a build but it’s a crowded board for sure. It all fits in nicely. Search the forum before building, lots of good tips there, such as the 1uf caps needing to be MLCC’s. Glad I read that before ordering parts.

As per the other reviews, nice delay, unique modulation. Can wire a momentary footswitch to the repeat to have infinite repeats! As always, buy a bunch of PT2399 and test a few to avoid the noisy ones.

A great delay with loads of wacky tones on tap. If you just want wobble, build the Magnetron, but get this is you want some madness! Easy but satisfying build and a lot of fun to test!! I had all the pots at max when I plugged it in and I thought it was broken. Nope, just wild modulation at full blast!!!
